1.3  Dave McLeod lecture

An excellent event for the club which was reasonably well attended and the club made a good profit from this event.

1.4  MCofS forum

Mhairi and Andrew attended this event in Perth in November and report back plans for the MCofS to go corporate. MCofS benefits to the club include individual insurance, lectures, courses, winter skills amongst others.  See the MCofS website for full information on this. We will from now on get a large delivery of MCofS magazines to the sports union rather than delivering the to individuals addresses, as this will avoid them landing on the doorstep of last years flats.

1.5  Finance

Mhairi to approach the sports union finance committee to request extra money to help us account for minibus damage, essential maintenance of gear store gear and safety tuition etc… There have been two recent bad luck incidents involving buses on hire by DURC.  These will potentially involve sizable insurance claims, the treasurer is planning for this.
