Due to unforeseen circumstances Caroline has regrettably had to resign as Vice President. However she continues to support the club and all its activities.

Attended by 5 of the clubs members, a good evening had by all.

 

1.4 MCoS Safety and Good Practice Seminar weekend

Spoken to Andy Patterson, permission to reproduce granted; ideas currently brewing.

 

 

1.6 Kit on meets

 

Suggested that first aid kits and Teranova shelters to go on all meets.

3.1 Donation box for Assynt Mountain rescue team

 

To be placed at the DMFF for the weekend (November 17th) and letter of thanks for the incident earlier in the semester.

 

 

 

3.2 Prebooking Huts for academic year 2006/07

 

Meets sec. offered to book some of the more popular huts e.g  CIC hut.

 

3.3 Meets book.

 

Meets secretary wants to stress the importance of writing kit and routes in meets book This is for your own safety and no one should leave the hut unless name is by a route and you have identified what kit you have got with you.

 

3.4 Ice factor trip

 

To take place early on in semester two. This will allow people to have a preliminary experience  before going out on to the hills.

3.5 No solo walking

 

This is in the constitution for the safety on the members and members should abide by it on all club meets.

 

3.6 Minibuses

 

Enterprise has decided to continue the current arrangement for weekend and day trips until March.  The president will now make up driver packs.
