1.9 Stress on how to sign up for mailing list for new members - another flyer in the freshers pack to ensure that sign up is immediate. Mention at the slide show.
2.1 Lectures; navigation and first aid possible dates discussed. Possibly just before the freshers’ day meet? (Too soon?; to be discussed upon VPs return.) Agreement that it should be early on, after the first weekend trip due to importance of lectures to the rest of the semester.
2.2 VP would like to organise a trip at the Mountain Rescue in Leuchars for training early in the first semester.
2.3 Idea to update the notice board weekly during semester and show pictures and maps etc for the coming weekend; all are in agreement that this would be a positive move to ensure new and or prospective members are well informed.
3.1 Purpose of the Sally Fund??
3.2 Account still healthy but there remain a lot of cheques that have not yet been debited.

4.7 Set up automatic email list to remind when to return. Reduce paper work and make return of kit more prompt.
4.8 Extra information in the freshers’ pack about the importance of borrowing kit and returning kit. That returning of kit is important not just so that others may borrow it but also so that the maintenance and replacement of damaged kit can be carried out.

4.12 Organise what is referred to as a Scout night. It is an evening where Tiso staff are available to give a full explanation on a full range of kit. This could be an exercise highly beneficial to freshers’. Will attempt to organise early on to benefit and attract new members.
4.13 Attempt to get another key for the gear store, however, aware that there have been difficulties before.
